Encouraging others in Christ

IMG_7287.JPGSo I ask you today, have you ever felt like you are standing still in a situation without any changes? I know several of my readers personally who can answer with YES!! The other day while leaving my exercise room, I had gotten to the bottom of the steps only to find that Jack wasn’t so eager to come down the stairs behind me like he usually does.
He seemed to have lost his get up and go..IMG_7298.JPG
We find ourselves waiting for change day in and day out until we soon lose our excitement.

We must remember that the devil brings the four D’s, which are Doubt, discouragement, despair and division. I’ve added another D, and it is for down.ย We sit down within our doubt and begin to think that things will not change anytime soon; our discouragement can cause us to despair. If we don’t keep our focus on Christ and His Word, we can create a division between God and us. The devil is the only one happy when this happens.
Let’s get a hold on our thinking, and not give into the devil’s tactics. Half of the battle is outsmarting the devil, and we can do that by coming into the presence of God every day and seeking His way and Will for us, and Putting on our FULL ARMOUR of God every day.

9 And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

FRUITFUL OBSERVATION: Paul challenges the Galatians and us to keep on doing what is right and to trust God for the results. In due time, we reap a harvest of blessing.

IMG_7297.JPGLet’s pray to get back up and keep our focus on the ALL POWERFUL God that LOVES us and that supplies us the strength we need today and every day!

As Dorie says from Finding Nemo “Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming” but it does get tiring and difficult to keep up day to day-we just have to keep pushing through! Joy comes in the morning ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. It is ironic that you should mention “do not be weary in well-doing” and that you mention to get a hold of our thoughts. I wrote out sone steps for doing just that. It will definitely be posted soon. Well, really the irony is the Holy Spirit. Thanks for the post.

  5. Another wonderful post. This past week, I allowed myself to become weak, to feel as if I am close to an emotional/mental breakdown. But it is truly my own fault…I am thinking way too much of my situation (my storm) and took my focus off God and how much bigger He is than any storm. I become weary and tired within the battles and I know the only rest I will get..is from God, by resting in Him. I need to learn to “continually” take each day one day at a time and not think about the next day or the days after. I need to “continue” to draw near to God and focus only on our relationship and abiding in Him and His word, and He will take care of all thee rest.
Thank you for your great posts. God bless you

    • Amen Sweet Simple!๐Ÿ™‚ We will have these daily struggles until Christ calls us home! ๐Ÿค” And as the hymn goes :What a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus and will sing and shout the VICTORY๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™†๐ŸผOH AMEN!!! Just call on Jesus when you feel that discouragement coming on…it’s so hard because we know that He is with us but we don’t often see any improvement in our situation, but let’s do our best just to lift up a song, maybe “what a day it will be” regardless of our mood…lift up our voice and within in minutes we will feel better and can claim the victory๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™‚โค๏ธ๐ŸŽˆ let’s try it !!! Hang in there!โค๏ธโค๏ธ
