So I ask you today, have you ever felt like you are standing still in a situation without any changes? I know several of my readers personally who can answer with YES!! The other day while leaving my exercise room, I had gotten to the bottom of the steps only to find that Jack wasn’t so eager to come down the stairs behind me like he usually does.
He seemed to have lost his get up and go..
We find ourselves waiting for change day in and day out until we soon lose our excitement.
We must remember that the devil brings the four D’s, which are Doubt, discouragement, despair and division. I’ve added another D, and it is for down. We sit down within our doubt and begin to think that things will not change anytime soon; our discouragement can cause us to despair. If we don’t keep our focus on Christ and His Word, we can create a division between God and us. The devil is the only one happy when this happens.
Let’s get a hold on our thinking, and not give into the devil’s tactics. Half of the battle is outsmarting the devil, and we can do that by coming into the presence of God every day and seeking His way and Will for us, and Putting on our FULL ARMOUR of God every day.
GALATIANS 6:9
9 And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
FRUITFUL OBSERVATION: Paul challenges the Galatians and us to keep on doing what is right and to trust God for the results. In due time, we reap a harvest of blessing.
Let’s pray to get back up and keep our focus on the ALL POWERFUL God that LOVES us and that supplies us the strength we need today and every day!
Some days we can feel LEFT OUTSIDE TO DRY
Hello and HAPPY Tuesday!
Do you ever feel like you’ve been left out to dry? Some days life can be so busy, and we try to go about the day the best that we can. Sometimes it seems like our prayers aren’t answered, much less heard by God.
While we’re waiting, let’s try to find peace in knowing that scripture tells us to continue in prayer, and not give up.
LUKE 18:1
1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.
To persist in prayer until the answer comes doesn’t mean endless repetition or painfully long prayer sessions. Always praying means keeping our requests constantly before God as we live for Him day by day, always believing He will answer. When we do live by faith, we are not to give up. God may delay answering, but His delays always have good reasons. As we persist in prayer, we grow in character, faith, and hope.
Let’s do our absolute best in finding God in every situation that we face. Try our best to adjust our attitudes, although we aren’t hearing or seeing any evidence that God is listening. He assures us that He is always with us and has the best plan for our life.
FRUITFUL OBSERVATION: Whether or not we feel like we are sitting on a sloped hillside unplugged and out of place, REST assured that God knows exactly where we are at this very moment!! Let’s keep the faith and lift up our prayers, and trust that when He is ready, He will move in our situations.
Stay plugged into the RIGHT POWER supply today and every day:))
I’m excitedly waiting for my site to be established:) Today will be 72 hours SO I hope it gets up and going soon!
I’ve managed to do well so far with portion control and exercise, but of course this is just my second day:) I realize that I want what God has for me more than I want to overeat and be miserable. I need to be obedient to a new plan and to know that He will use me when He’s ready. Sometimes we have to ”JUST DO IT”, as Nike says. If we know that the Lord has put something in our hearts and we’ve really prayed about it…and it lines up with His Word, then instead of waiting for this audibile voice, we have to take the situation into our hands and pray over it some more and then GO FOR IT! God just may surprise you and line up the confirmation.:))) We must be willing to step out in faith:), Faith to trust Him more! Know that we’ve done all the preparation on our end as much as possible and then trust and step out there…If it’s His Will, He will bless your efforts.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 says
11 For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the LORD,” plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
12 Then you will call on me come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
So absolutely true! The hard part is remembering it…He’s always there Willing, Waiting and Watching:)) Trust Him and do your best to remember it:))
